The tour starts in Bucharest but any other modifications can be done upon request.
In the morning, 8 o’clock, you’ll meet your guide in the hotel’s

On the way toward Brasovyou’ll make a short detour to visit Snagov church. Located on an island of the Snagov Lake (about 40km North from Bucharest), the church was built during the time of Prince Mircea the Elder or even earlier. Surrounded by defensive walls, protected by a watching tower used also as a belfry, the church looked as a real fortress. It seems that Vlad the Impaler was buried here. Even today you can admire his grave.
You’ll continue your road straight toward Sinaia, also known as the “Carpathian Pearl”, where you’ll visit Peles Castle, the most beautiful castle in Romania, residence of the former royal family. Sinaia Monastery was the first building of this town and is located not far away from the castle.
Driving on the beautiful Prahova Valley, you will have an astonishing view over the Bucegi Mountains, especially over the craggy Caraiman Massive with its Heroes’ Cross built in the memory of the soldiers who died in the First World War.
Further on, you’ll cross into the famous and mysterious Transylvania to visit Brasov, a city founded by the Saxons, who colonized Transylvania in the 12-13th centuries. Here you’ll visit the old center, where you’ll admire the beautiful buildings such as the astonishing The Black Church which was built in Gothic and Renaissance style. You’ll enjoy a walking tour of the old medieval citadel and you’ll admire its walls protected by towers, the old square and the narrowest street in Romania, Rope Street.
Accommodation in Brasov.
