Day 1.
Bucharest - Snagov - Sinaia - Brasov

In the morning, 8 o'clock, you'll meet your guide in the hotel's Snagov Church lobby.
On the way toward Brasov you'll make a short detour to visit Snagov church. Located on an island of the Snagov Lake (about 40km North from Bucharest), the church was built during the time of the Mircea the Elder ruler or even earlier. Surrounded by defensive walls and having a watching tower, used also as a belfry, the church looked as a real fortress. It seams that here Vlad the Impaler was buried. Even today you can admire his grave.
You'll continue your road straight toward Sinaia, also known as the “Carpathian Pearl”, where you'll visit Peles Castle, the most beautiful castle in Romania, residence of the former royal family. Sinaia Monastery was the first building of this town, and is not far away from the castle.
Driving on the beautiful Prahova Valley, you will have an astonishing view over Bucegi Mountain, especially over the craggy Caraiman Massive with its Heroes' Cross built in the memory of the soldiers who died in the First World War.
Brasov Further on, you'll drive toward Brasov, a city founded by the Saxons, who colonized Transylvania in the 12-13th centuries. Here you'll visit the old center, where you'll admire the beautiful buildings such as the astonishing Black Church which was built in Gothic and Renaissance style. You'll see the narrowest street in Romania, Rope Street, Schei and Catherine's Gates, St. Nicholas Church, and the old Schei neighborhood.
Accommodation in Brasov.

Day 2.
Brasov - Prejmer - Harman - Rasnov - Bran - Targoviste - Bucharest

Prejmer fortified church Your tour starts in the morning after your breakfast.
Prejmer fortified church is the first stop of this day. It is the biggest of this kind in the Southeastern Europe being built in the 13th century by Germans settled in Transylvania. The fortress, in circle shape, had walls thick by 3-4m and 12m high, fire holes bastions, iron gates, deep moats and lifting bridges. Next visit is Harman fortified church. Built in 13th century by Saxons, the fortress has a church surrounded by thick walls and massive towers. During its history, the church was modified by adding parts to it. It is built in Roman style with Gothic influence.
On the way toward Bran you’ll visit Rasnov medieval peasant fortress, 500 years old. Here, the main attractions are the well, 146m deep, Bran Castle and the panoramic view over the Barsa Country.
The last stop is Bran Castle built 700 years ago and famous for the Dracula legend. Built on a calcareous rock, the castle, surrounded by a small village museum, attracts thousands of visitors each year.
Driving on the beautiful Rucar-Bran Corridor, you'll reach Targoviste, the former capital of Walachia. Here you'll visit the Princely Court and the Sunset Tower built for the first time during Vlad Impaler's (Dracula) reign. After the Princely Court you'll take the road toward Bucharest where the tour ends.
