Dealu Frumos
Dealu Frumos
Dealul Frumos village, 4km from Agnita city and 70km Northwest of Sibiu, was the owner of a church since the first half of the 13th century. At the beginning the church was a Romanesque basilica but during the consolidation works it was modified. A tower was built above the altar. A quadrilateral wall, which has towers at the corners, surrounds the church and the southern part is closed. Supplementary towers and bastions consolidate the fortifications. Among the preserved objects, a crucifix, remains of a Gothic pew and a Gothic door handle, are the most valuable.
